REQUIREMENTS
- Photocopy of official documents stating the candidate's age, nationality and place of residence.
- One passport-sized photo
- Artistic cv
- Chose programme to be performed
- Original piano scores of your chosen pieces.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
CANDIDATES SHOULD PERFORM 6 DIFFERENT SOLO PIECES FROM 3 DIFFERENT COMPOSERS, TO BE PERFORMED 2 IN EACH ROUND
Participation is for males or females from 18 to 50 years of age.
Only complete application containing clear and accurate information will be accepted.
Recorded participations on cds and dvds can be accepted only for the preliminary round
Singers should bring their own pianists.
A pianist could be provided upon availability and upon request with an extra cost.

The winners of the 3 competitions will perform at the final concert on: To be announced
Arias must be performed in the language of the original text. transpositions will not be permitted.
Changes to the candidate's performing program will not be accepted after it has been submitted.
All pieces should be performed from memory.
The organizing committee's decisions are final.
Should the competition be canceled 'or force majeure' because of war, civil or political disturbance, epidemy, flood, fire, public mouring, strikes or coalition of employees, default on funding, opera celestiale would not be held responsible in any way and would not be cleared of all expenses, such as compensation or refunds.
RECORDED PARTICIPATIONS ON CDS AND DVD CAN BE ACCEPTED ONLY FOR THE PRELIMINARY ROUND

- Technique
- Musical accuracy
- Presentation
Awards:
- A prize of 200 euro will be awarded to the 1st place winners of each category along with a 1st place certificate.
- A prize of 100 euro will be awarded to the 2nd place winners of each category.
- A certificate of 3rd place will be awarded to the 3rd place winners of each category.
- Opportunity to participate in an opera and/or recital/concert in Cyprus or abroad might be presented to any of the finalists.
